Welcome to Time Machine Hobby

At Time Machine Hobby, we specialize in providing hobby enthusiasts with a range of services, products and activities that entertain, educate and encourage imagination. We promote ‘Quality Time’ with family and friends and the lifelong pursuit of leisure activities.

Come in and experience our friendly, fun atmosphere and see all we have to offer. From trains, dollhouse miniatures and radio control cars to puzzles, models and strategy games, we’ve got it all. Our knowledgeable customer service team can guide and assist you with your favorite hobby or even introduce you to a new one. We stock full lines of products and parts that are available when you need them.



About Us

The Time Machine started as a small hobby shop in East Hampton, CT in the Fall of 1993. Combining with New England Hobby in Manchester, CT in the Fall of 1999, we have more than tripled in size over the past eight years and become the largest hobby retail location in New England.

We support a variety of enthusiasts’ groups and clubs that meet at the store regularly. Check our calendar for meeting dates/times…new members are always welcome. We also hold store events and activities the whole family can enjoy.

Check our calendar for upcoming events, including train layouts that run on the first and third Sundays of each month from 1pm to 4pm and open gaming every day during store hours. (Warhammer, Flames of War, Magic, Malifaux and much much more. Call Wayne for details.)

6:30 PM		   Friday Night Magic
Magic The Card Game. Type II Constructed Tournament: Open to all and no cost to play. Must bring own deck.
Sat - Sep 04
1:00 PM		   Saturday Magic Drafting!
Come join us at the Time Machine for Magic the Gathering: drafts, on Saturdays at 1 p.m. ~We will be running weekly drafts on Saturday. The cost is $12.00 to get three packs. If you have packs of the drafted set you may use them, in which case the entry fee will drop to $4.00. For Prize Support we will throw one pack of Rise of the Eldrazi for each person entered. And we will distribute them accordingly among the top finishers. These will be sanctioned events run by Jack Guerin.

Come see our 5000 sq. ft. train layout in operation on the first and third Sunday of every month. O, HO and N scale layouts.
